Introduction

SORDIMM (Small Outline ECC Registered DIMM) is designed for networking and communication systems. Its small size and high-speed processing are ideal for small-sized networking equipments, such as switch and router. Furthermore, the use of a register achieves signal synchronization and stability, preventing error in data processing at high speed when moving large amounts of data. It also supports ECC function to detect and correct data errors, and a built-in temperature-monitoring thermal sensor to prevent overheating and improve the memory module’s reliability.
